BB Quick Tip - Beat the Heat With summer winding to a close and the heat still rising, I’m find myself craving a cool and refreshing summer lemonade. One of my favorite treats, that also works beautifully as a mock-tail at a summer BBQ, is a frozen watermelon blueberry lemonade. It’s quick and easy to make and not too sweet. Plus it uses the fresh, ripe produce of the season, blueberries and watermelon, for an extra taste of summer. (#BBhealthyhint: It is packed with antioxidants and will keep you hydrated in the heat so it super healthy!) Frozen Watermelon Blueberry Lemonade! Three slices fresh watermelon, without seeds (if you have time to prep ahead freeze the watermelon cubes first!). One small bowl of blueberries or berries of your choice (fresh or frozen). One lemon. One cup ice. One tablespoon pure maple syrup. Half cup water. Chop watermelon into chunks and add to blender with freshly washed berries. Add juice from one lemon along with maple syrup, ice and water to blender. Blend on high speed until mixed thoroughly, pour into frosty glass and enjoy!!   What is your favorite refreshing summer drink?
