Most mornings I’m rushing out the door with only about 15-20 minutes to get made up and dressed.
My secret weapon is Beauty expert and makeup artist extraordinaire Romy Soleimani who helped me narrow down what’s really important on those busy workdays and how to look naturally beautiful, fast! We share Romy’s tips below for getting a gorgeous, daytime glow.
Skin prep is the first and most important step to achieving glowing skin. I maintain my glow by cleansing and moisturizing my skin daily. I love to start my regimen with
Eve Lom’s cleanser. The muslin cloths that come with it are magical! They slightly exfoliate your skin every time you cleanse, leaving it feeling smooth and soft. I then moisturize with a serum. My favorite for every day is
Coldbert MD. It stimulates the skin and adds a glowing effect. Whenever I need a little extra moisture, say during the winter months, I like to add Revitalizing Serum from Joanna Vargas to my routine – the moisturizing oil hydrates beautifully without making me breakout!
Next, I like to apply a light concealer where needed to maintain a natural look while covering any blemishes. The
Jouer tinted moisturizer is great to apply with a beauty blender or fingers. I like to place it on the inner corners of the eyes, around the nose and anywhere there is darkness or redness.
To add a natural flush to my cheeks, I use
Tarte flush stick in Natural Beauty. I apply it on the apples of my cheeks with my fingers. If you feel like you have added too much color, you can tone it down by dabbing a little bit of tinted moisturizer on top.
I finish the look using a
Kevyn Aucoin eye lash curler (essential!) and apply
Loreal Voluminous Millions Lashes. I use the same tint I used on my cheeks on my lips.
That’s my every day quick and easy naturally beautiful look! Try a few of these ideas and share some of your own!
