We are inviting our Custom Workout subscribers to share their Ballet Beautiful transformation with us and the BB community. Your transformation doesn't have to be all about weight loss or the typical set of "before and after" photos. Our Ballet Beauties come from all different places, backgrounds, professions, and experiences, and we want to see and share what our Custom Workouts mean to each of you as an individual.
If you are a Custom Workout subscriber and our program has made you stronger, happier, more confident, graceful, leaner, or has impacted you in any other way, we want to see what that looks like to you. If your flexibility has improved, show us your split! If you feel more confident, show us your smile! If you’ve developed a more balanced lifestyle, show us how your healthy habits have improved! I was always girl with few extra pounds (hello endomorphs) and tried many types of sports. From gym training, running, martial art to latin american dance. There came time when I had to working out at home which made trainings challenging for me. I also got bit out of shape due to lack of motivation working out alone. While trying different youtube videos I came across Mary Helen videos and after loving her graceful style so much, I immediately went to website, ordered DVD's and subcribed too! BB completely transformed my approach to fitness. I enjoyed that I was getting in shape n stronger with quickest results I saw out from all workout I have done. Plus I enjoyed being in company of feminine and elegant lady (that I did lack before). Mary Helen is like a friend and therapist to me, not just a trainer. I go to bed looking forward to wake up next day for BB session. I still lift weights twice a week and do BB 4-6times a week as well and my physique never been better! BB truly works wonders especially for abs (never had abs definition before!!) and slimming down legs while making them strong. Last thing, is functional too, good balance I developed saved me many times during backpacking hiking times, when I had to cross rivers, stand on one leg firmly etc so BB few times became literally life saving.
I love your workouts! I do the video of train like an Angel with Martha Hunt. I love everything except the arm excercises at the end my arms get super tired and I cannot hold them up as long . The stretches between excercises is more intense than the actual exercise! I love how it just doesn’t seem hard to you. But Martha is like me when I exercise it’s hard and she struggles through it like I do! By the way do you have any tips on abs ?my stomach is firm but has that pooch to it that is hard to shrink. That is my main goal right now besides overall health.
I can give you tips on how with more challenging exercises that ballet can offer, the gymnastics ones and the ones which are used in professional track and field athletics. The risk is though that if you do a lot of strength training for your abs, you are likely to build muscle and actually gain inches than lose them. I gained on my waist when I trained for the pole dancing contest. I need to see pics to tell what may be helpful. May be the only answer is to lose weight, for which best exercises are the Stairmaster in the gym or running.
I love your workouts especially the train like an angel video with Martha Hunt! I actually do that one. Please post more videos like that. This one is awesome and you get a full workout in 30 minutes. Which is exactly how I like to exercise.
Hello, Mary Helen and Ballet Beauties! My name is Evgeniy and I'm from Russia. Girls in my country love ballet very that's why they' re so beautiful and have a lot of grace. I'm a boy and I like ballet very much , I've started to take ballet classes three years ago in Moscow. I'd like to say that I can't stop to train, it looks like a drug addiction.)))) Due to ballet classes, my body and my soul became stronger and longer etc.))) Don't blame me too much for my poor English.

My name is Kiara and I am writing from Rome, Italy. Since I've started training with your workouts, my body got much strength while remaining slim (one day I was even able to carry a friend of mine for 55 kilos of weight). Of all kinds of sports, I would suggest ballet workouts as a wonderful way to stay athletic for all your life. Doing your workouts on a daily basis for a life time, will for sure keep my body beautiful, with no cellulite, strong, flexible and if I eat well, slim too.
